PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Learn all the tips and tricks of studio dog photography during a live demonstration class that will include multiple, unique setups, as well as watch as Joan and Randy photograph and dog wrangle in real time several dogs in different sizes, shapes, colors, and temperaments.

Author of more than 28 dog and dog training books, writer of hundreds of dogcentric magazine articles, and internationally awarded pet photographer of more than 1000 canines, Joan H. Walker relates that her life has literally gone to the dogs.
And she wouldn't have it any other way!
When she’s not photographing or writing about dogs, she is, you guessed it, spending time with her dogs. Walker is currently owned by two Havanese: Choco Taco (10) and her heart dog, Noelle (10).

If you've seen Joan for a session, you've met Randy. He's the one setting up the lights, wrestling with backdrops, trouble-shooting the tethering system. calibrating monitors, and building computers to handle editing, processing and painting programs with screaming speed.
He's also a Navy veteran with a great business sense, and therefore handles all the backend business processes. And, of course, he's a great dog handler, noisemaker and photographer.
Randy is owned by a rescued blue-nose pitty, Lilo, who has him impeccably trained to throw her a tennis ball at least once a day.
