GREG LOVETT BIO

Photojournalist Greg Lovett has worked at The Post since 1989. He’s covered disasters from the Panhandle to Puerto Rico and pursued stories from Honduras to Haiti. He prefers being closer to home, illustrating the lives of people in South Florida from a variety of perspectives, including from a drone hundreds of feet above. His work has been recognized by Pictures of the Year International, Atlanta Photojournalism Seminar, Florida Society of Journalists, and he is a four-time winner of Cox Photographer of the Year. He was a part of The Post photography team that was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for breaking news photography for coverage of the Hurricane Andrew in 1992 and again for team coverage of the 2004 Florida hurricanes. He was born and raised in Arkansas and has a B.A. in Photojournalism from Western Kentucky University.
